Kristina & Donnie With the sparkling Mexican Sea of Cortez as a backdrop, 65 guests gathered to attend the nuptials of Kristina & Donnie. Guests first arrived at the gorgeous 17,000 square foot terracotta colored stucco villa with the sun high in the sky as the bride and groom stood beneath a specially-crafted bamboo arbor draped with copious amounts of sky blue, pistachio green, and orange fabrics. For dinner by sunset, intimate tables for six were scattered outdoors and the colors evoked the seaside. Hand-made Mexican terracotta plates and bowls stood out against the blue tones and the centerpieces continued the theme of island-style luxury; varietal green orchids, blue hydrangea, and ripe seasonal fruits were thoughtfully arranged there. Guests were shaded from the warm day by yards and yards of orange and cream-colored fabric that covered the large bamboo cabanas built around each table. When the sun went down, festive Mexican lanterns hung from these cabanas illuminated the night.
